Stefanie has joined our team as an Account Director in March. To give you a better impression of her we asked her to answer our questionnaire for new team members.
What have you done before joining us?
I’ve worked 5 years in a Norwegian SaaS company, which does Big Data analysis in the field of New Media. Among my responsibilities there were Account Management, Sales and projects to increase the customer satisfaction.
Before joining Akanoo I took a sabbatical to travel throughout Europe, learn how to sail and work off my bucket-list.
What are your responsibilities at Akanoo?
As Account Director it is my task to strategically improve our customers’ satisfaction and experience, streamline feedback and optimize running processes together with the Account Managers.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Number crunching and analytical development combined with lots of direct contact with our clients. It’s always good to see the clients become happier every day! It’s also great to support my colleagues and help them in their own development.
And what do you usually do after work?
I am a movie addict and frequent the cinema quite regularly. Otherwise, I am trying out new venues and restaurants in Hamburg.
Which colleague would you take with you to a lonely island and why?
Bendix – together we might be able to build a ship and escape.
Which attraction/part of Hamburg do you think you should definitely visit and why?
Well, now that it is finally finished – I would say everyone should visit the Elphie (or at least the Plaza), so the city can earn its money back. ;)
As I am a fan of everything maritime, I’d also recommend the Café Entenwerder 1 or Alsterperle at the Alster lake, which offers beautiful views and refreshing drinks.
Which apps could you never do without and why?
I have grown quite fond of my Upday app on Android, which summarizes news from all kinds of media in a quick overview. And I love my Memoir app, which shoots 5-sec videos every day and automatically makes a movie out of those.
